Capitalization etc

This isn't meant to be critical, far from it. Please read it in that sense.

I have been going through the uncategorised files and have found a problem. The problem is book/scroll pages. First part: If a scroll is called "Hazzak's Secret Plan" the I would normally name the page exactly the same way including punctuation and name the file File:Hazzak's Secret Plan.png with a Pg1 or Pg2 etc if needed. You can and do write, at times, "Hazzak's secret plan" with images File:Hazzak's secret plan.png. There was a lot of duplication under the name variation. I have deleted mainly yours as mine were linked to the books' pages. Second part: Sometimes the name of a note is not obvious, as some of them do not have titles, I use an add-on called Librarian from ESOUI which gives the title and indeed the formatted content. It's invaluable to me. The point being, I use the exact name from that with the exception of the ones with a # character, here I substitute "No,". And, of course, for the images, the colons get replaced with a hyphen.

Additionally, classification. We have use Book/Scroll/Journal/Note. I really think that confining the classification to Book or Scroll, being descriptive, is less potentially confusing.

One further addition, I know that out convention is to write "Personal note" i.e. Upper for first letter, lower for rest. However, if the in game name is "Personal Note" or "Soul Gem" then I think we should use the in-game way of doing things.

Well, it's a Wiki, we can move, delete and change nearly everything - and at moment I don't consider books my domain that much anyway, and if you got an add-on helping you, that's fantastic. I'm just busy getting my Ebonheart Quests done and corrected. If there is something wrong, I'm kinda sorry, but I'm only a poor bavarian, who started learning english in the fifth grade. Doesn't mean, I'm not trying. If I had a saying, I'd rather type everything lower case anyway - yep, in german, too! =,=' Oh, and Gamewidow is a woman, btw. Sorry, for spilling the beans, G. :)

No, it's not that you are wrong. It's just that we are duplicating our work. And I'm constantly surprised how much better that non-English native language writers are than English ones. Not complaining at all. I can see how lower case would be nice, unfortunately, the wiki software does not seem to handle that well. Game "widow", well I thought that might indicate a woman, but who knows on the Internet these days? -> Hier ist der Hund. <- That's all the German I remember from my school days, well the polite part. --Rhynchelma (talk) 11:40, 29 April 2014 (UTC)

Oh, well, I'm trying to move all I an find then, got a few little piggies in my quests, too, which were added when the wiki was just new. For quest titles we'd have to use everything in captials anyway (if we wanted to do it "right"), but I deny doing so. I think it's not really legible, also in the game. "Da liegt der Hund begraben!" = That's the crux of the matter! Anyways, we desperately need someone who fills the Daggerfall Quests and I wished I slowly would get someone on the german site. :(
