Soul gem

Soul gems are used to capture the souls of creatures in The Elder Scrolls: Online. The larger and more power the creature, the more powerful the empty soul gem required to capture it.

Once a soul has been captured, the soul gem is considered to be full and can then be used to recharge items or to revive a player. There are six kinds of normal soul gem:


Empty Soul Gems

Soul gem common.png Common Soul Gem (Empty) 30 2 Used to capture lvl. 30 - 39 souls
Soul gem greater.png Greater Soul Gem (Empty) 40 3 Used to capture lvl. 40 - 49 souls
Soul gem greater.png Grand Soul Gem (Empty) 50 4 Used to capture lvl. 50 or better souls

Filled Soul Gems

When soul gems are filled, they can be used to charge weapons and to revive players.

Soul gem greater.png Greater Soul Gem 40 26 Used to refill lvl. 40 - 49 weapons and revive lvl. 40 - 49 players
