Bethesda Softworks is the company behind Elder Scrolls series of computer games. Other titles featured under the Bethesda label include such blockbuster franchises as DOOM, QUAKE, Fallout, Wolfenstein and RAGE. They were also the first company to produce a true-3D series of games for the Terminator license, and in recent times for the Fallout series. They are based in Bethesda, Maryland, USA.
