These travelling knights call upon the powers of light and the burning sun to deal massive damage to their enemies while restoring health, magicka and stamina to their allies.

Templars are powerful warriors that fight utilizing the power of the sun itself to both smite foes, heal allies and protect themselves. Templars are arguably the most versatile class in TESO, being able to fight effectively as a DPS, Tank or Healer. This is due to the three skill lines; Aedric Spear(DPS), Dawns Wrath(DPS/CC) and Restoring Light(TANK/HEALER). Thanks to the Templar's incredibly versatile skill tree, it is an effective class for both solo and group play.

Templar Skills[edit | edit source]

The three primary skill trees of Templars are:

  • Aedric Spear – consists of aggressive attacking spells that allow the Templar to damage, stun and interrupt enemies.
  • Dawn's Wrath – consists of attacking spells and debuffs that make enemies weaker.
  • Restoring Light – protects and restores health of your allies.

Increases the resurrection speed, players resurrected have more health, Templar has the chance to receive a soul gem, when the action is successful.

Increased resurrection speed, players are resurrected with additional health with a chance of not consuming a soul gem in the process.

Removes 2 negative effects and heals nearby allies for 3 health every 2 seconds. -7 magicka cost

Active 42 Creates an area of self protection, gaining immunity to interrupt effects and taking less damage while the effect lasts. 25 Magicka

Rite of Passage.png
Ultimate 12 Decreases damage for all nearby allies. Heals the caster. The Templar is immobile while performing this. 150 Ultimate
